BUILDING CLIMATE RESILIENCE THROUGH YOUTH LEADERSHIP
Supported by Libra Philanthropies, the ALP Climate Cohort 2025 is designed for youth leaders from across India who live at the frontlines of the climate crisis—but are rarely included in shaping its solutions.
Rooted in justice and hope, the cohort offers a sp ace to critically engage with how climate change intersects with gender, migration, health, and livelihoods. Through a carefully structured curriculum of workshops, mentorship, and hands-on fieldwork, participants build a deep understanding of climate justice and develop the tools to take meaningful action in their communities.
Participants learn to:
- Analyze local climate impacts through the lens of equity and human rights
- Design and implement community-led solutions
- Use storytelling, policy engagement, and advocacy tools to influence change
- Learn and network with industry experts
This is more than a training program—it’s a career springboard. Graduates have gone on to lead grassroots campaigns, speak at national and global forums, and pursue careers in environmental justice, development, and governance.
By investing in the leadership of those most affected, the Climate Cohort is helping redefine who gets to lead the fight for our shared future.
